This morning, students were given a few clues about today’s lunchtime guest reader—someone who coached basketball and football, has three kids, and is sometimes seen on the bus. Needless to say, curiosity was high!
The big reveal was Mr. Kroll, who stopped by to read All You Need for a Snowman. The roaring round of applause said it all—he nailed it! 👏⛄📖
It was a simple, fun moment and a great reminder that reading doesn’t have to be fancy—it can happen anywhere. The bar has officially been set high for next week’s guest reader… and we can’t wait to see who’s next! 😊

Our 6th grade scientists put their engineering skills to the test during an earthquake STEM challenge! 🌎🏗️ Students designed and built earthquake-proof structures with goals of being the tallest, surviving the shaking, and supporting weight. We had some impressive results—one structure reached 42 centimeters tall, another held 700 grams, and both successfully survived the shaking! It is always a good day when students get a chance to see how science and engineering work together in the real world.

The anatomy students got a hands-on look at the skeletal system! 🦴 They explored the anatomy of a long bone, examining real bone structure to better understand its composition and function. A huge thank-you to Binger’s Meat Processing for the generous bone donation that made this real-life learning oppotunity possible. Experiences like this truly bring science to life!
