There will be a Wrestling Meeting on Monday night at 5:30 PM for parents/students in grades 6-12 that are interested in wrestling this upcoming season. The meeting will be held in the lunchroom.

We take the court at 7:00 PM inside the Huron Arena (following the Parkston vs. Ipswich match at 5:30).

We’re excited to celebrate our students for their Accelerated Reader (AR) achievements from the first nine weeks of school!
The AR program encourages a love of reading by allowing students to choose books at their level and then take quizzes to check their comprehension. It’s been wonderful to see their enthusiasm for reading grow—one chapter, one story, one book at a time!

The 6th graders explored how chemical sedimentary rocks form by growing their own crystals on pipe cleaner designs! 💎 They observed how dissolved minerals cause crytilization and create solid structures, just like sedimentary rock formations in nature.
From spirals. spooky Halloween-themed designs 🎃👻, and a few 6-7s, their creativity crystallized into some amazing science fun!

🎃 Math + Halloween = Fun Learning! 👻
Our third graders had a spook-tacular time with Math-O-Lanterns today! They weighed their pumpkins, counted the ribs, measured the circumference, and even tallied up the seeds. To wrap up the morning, students carved their pumpkins and wrote spooky Halloween stories to share with the class. ✏️🎃
A big shoutout to our fifth graders, who joined in the fun by programming their micro:bits to light up the pumpkins! 💡💻
