Attached is the schedule for the Rozell JH Basketball Jamboree that will be held tomorrow in both the Warner Arena and Old Gym. Admission is $5.00 for Adults and $3.00 for Students.
Due to our challenging weather the last two days making travel difficult and extremely cold overnight temperatures, we will have a 10:00am start Friday February 24, 2023. The late start will give busses, staff and students extra time to get to school on the difficult roads. The Sale Barn bus will arrive at the Sale Barn around 8:35am, there will be no BeforeCare and breakfast will not be served.
Again, Warner Schools will have a 10:00am start, Friday February 24, 2023.
Today is the first day of the 2023 State Wrestling Meet being held in Rapid City. The Warner-Northwestern Wild Monarchs had four wrestlers qualify - Clayton Dulany, Charlie Dulany, Alex Pudwill, and Preston Cavalier. Due to increasing snow fall, dangerously strong winds, hazardous travel conditions, falling temperatures, and a blizzard warning through noon, there will be No School in Warner Thursday February 23, 2023. All activities scheduled for Thursday will be postponed or canceled; this includes all practices and events.
Again No School in Warner on Thursday, February 23, 2023.
The Warner Girls Basketball team will play Saturday night at 5:00 in the Warner Arena. They will play the winner of #8 Langford vs. #9 Waverly-South Shore (playing Friday at 3:30 in Langford).
The winner of the game Saturday night will play at 6:00 Monday night in Webster at the Armory.
Due to ongoing difficult weather conditions and tomorrow's forecast for more of the same, if not worse. There will be No School in Warner for Wednesday February 22, 2023. All activities scheduled for tomorrow are postponed or cancelled and will be rescheduled if possible. Again, No School in Warner on Wednesday February 22, 2023.

Due to the current falling snow and forecasted increasing winds, Warner School District will dismiss at 2:20pm Tuesday February 21, 2023. There will be no after school activities, no After Care, no Wrestling or Basketball practices.

Due to impending weather, the Warner Girls Basketball team will not be playing tomorrow night. All Region 1B Girls Basketball games will be postponed until Saturday, with time TBD. The Warner girls will play the winner of #8 Langford vs. #9 Waverly-South Shore (being played tonight).
The 3rd and final round of Regions will be held next Monday (Feb. 27th) in Webster.

Please join us Tuesday morning at 8:30 as we send Clayton Dulany, Charlie Dulany, Alex Pudwill, and Preston Cavalier off to Rapid City for the State Wrestling Meet. We moved the sendoff up a day to beat the snow storm.
The Warner Monarch Girls Basketball team finished as the 1 seed in Region 1B. On Tuesday, they will host the winner of the 8/9 seed game (8-Langford vs. 9-Waverly-South Shore). Warner will host Tuesday night (Feb. 21) at 7:00 PM in the Warner Arena. If Warner wins, they will play Thursday February 23rd in Webster at 6:00 PM (Webster Armory).
Gate prices for all Region games are $6.00/Adults and $4.00/students, as set by the SDHSAA. Warner Activity Tickets will not be accepted.
We are also keeping an eye on the weather, and will update with any postponements if any are made.

3:30 - Herreid-Selby vs. Hitchcock-Tulare

8:00 - Warner vs. Timber Lake
Warner activity passes do work to get into the classic. Gate prices are $5.00/adults; $3.00/students.

Good luck to our JH Boys Basketball teams. The 7th and 8th Grade Teams will host Miller at 9:00 and 10:00 in the old Warner Gym, and the 6th Graders will travel to Ipswich to play at 11:00!
Good luck to our JH and C Team Boys Basketball teams as they will be playing Aberdeen Christian today. The games will be played at Aberdeen Christian's school. There will be two JH games, beginning at 4:30 and 5:30. The C-Team will play at 6:30.

Weekly Update!
Happy 100th Day from the Jr. Kindergarteners. The Jr. Kindergarteners dressed up in library like they were 100 years old.
Please join us tonight in the Warner Arena as we host the Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds in boys basketball action. The JH will tipoff at 5:00. From there, it will be a rolling schedule with the Boys JV and Varsity following. With the potential weather looming, we will start the JV Boys game at approximately 6:00. The Boys JV and Varsity games will start sooner than normal.
