Art with the Artist~Spring Edition. We've been busy painting canvases in 8th grade art. Last week we studied Abstract Expressionist Jackson Pollock (1912-1956) and a few students decided to channel his methods of "action" painting or process art. Pollock flung paint onto the canvas creating multiple layers of color, drug string through the paint & used other fun methods of dripping color.
