Today our preschool children enjoyed making turkeys and doing the Turkey Pokey during Storytime at the library. Our next Storytime will be on Tuesday, November 22 at 9:30. Your preschool child is welcome to join us.

Bring your Monarch Spirit to Watertown tonight as our Warner Volleyball team takes on Viborg/Hurley for a spot in the top 8 at State. Game starts at 7:00 p.m. at the Watertown Civic Arena. Due to the start time of the 9A Football State Championship on Thursday night, and no school on Friday, the JH girls basketball games with Faulkton will be postponed.

FAN BUS - TUESDAY If we get enough interest, we will be taking a fan bus to Watertown tomorrow night for the volleyball game. The cost is $5.00 and will be leaving from the school at 5:00 PM. Students in grades 6 – 12 do not need an adult to ride with them. Students below 6th grade must be accompanied by an adult. Community members are also welcome to sign up. Please stop by the office to sign up or call/email Mrs. Lane. You must be signed up by 9:00 AM on Tuesday!

DAKOTA DOME FB CHAMPIONSHIP INFO! Warner Monarchs vs. Gregory Gorillas Thursday Nov. 10 - Kickoff 7:00 PM Doors open at 6:00 PM Ticket Prices - $15.00 for Adult Seating. $10.00 for Student Seating. Tickets can be purchased online at GoYotes.com/Tickets ($3.00 for all online orders per ticket) or through the ticket office starting monday morning at 9:00am by calling 605-677-5959. All seats are General Admission. If you are interested in a Suite or Lodge at the Dome, interested parties can contact the USD Ticket Office to be placed on a "call list." Suites have 12 seats and are available at $750 per session, while Loge Boxes have 8 seats and are available at $500 per session. You will be seated on a first to reserve basis. We will have a send off on Thursday, November 10th at 10:45 a.m. Public is welcome to meet in the lunchroom. Fans will not be allowed to come onto the field after the game. There will be a Welcome Home before Fall Awards at 5:00 p.m. in the Warner Gym on November 21st. GO MONARCHS!

Weekly Update for next week!!

Congratulations on the Varsity Football team for qualifying for the State 9A Championship next Thursday evening. The game is scheduled for a 7:00pm kick-off at the Dakota Dome in Vermillion. Unfortunately, the timing of the game will impact our ability to appropriately pay homage to our Veterans on Veterans’ Day. So, we will need to move our annual Veterans’ Day program to Monday Nov 14 with the same start time (10:00am) and the same location (High School Gymnasium). We are planning on Livestreaming the event on our YouTube Channel. Check the website Monday morning for the active link.

Your Warner Monarchs are heading to the Dome! We will play Gregory in the 9A Championship at 7:00 PM. School will dismiss at 12:30 PM on Thursday to allow everyone time to make the trip for those who want to attend. There will be no school on Friday Nov. 11th due to how late the game will get over on Thursday night. Tickets will be $15.00 for adults, and $10.00 for students. All tickets will be general admission. Tickets will go on sale today at 8:00 AM today online at tickets@usd.edu . There will be a service charge of $3.00 for all online ticket orders. Tickets can also be purchased through the ticket office on Monday morning starting at 9:00am by calling 605-677-5959. Once again, all tickets will be general admission.

First and 2nd graders who read 5 points or more in the month of October had an ice cream party on Wednesday. The kids did an awesome job of reading.

This week the children in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade who read 8 pts or more in the month of October were rewarded with an ice cream party. Great job of reading.
