Weather is always an important topic in the lives of any South Dakotan. The fourth graders were no exception to this as they had a meteorologist from the National Weather Service visit their classroom. Miss Larson, our student teacher, invited Megan, the meteorologist, to talk to the students about tornadoes. This was very relevant as the 4th graders are reading the novel, Night of the Twisters, by Ivy Ruckman. Miss Larson also had them create weather related posters with various facts about different storms.
