The State Competition is a two day event, running today and tomorrow at Aberdeen Central High School. Admission is $10.00/day for adults, and $5.00/day for students.
The opening ceremony for the event will begin at 10:00 AM.
Competing in Chess will be Paxton Johnson, Aiden Scarborough, and Preston Helwig. Competing in Rocket League will be Lincoln Kroll, Paxton Johnson, Scarborough, Bennett Woolverton, and Marcus Woolverton.

Please join us on March 9, 2026 in the Welke Gym for the science open House. Students from elementary through high school will be demonstrating projects, showing off their models of the year, and presenting their genius hour projects. There will be hands on activities for younger kids.
There will be a meal served. We hope that you can join us.

For the second year in a row, Warner sent students to the SDHSAA State One Act Festival.
Warner was able to get some students earn the recognition of Superior Acting Awards at the State Festival.
Congratulations to Dalton Lee, Jenessa Carda, Iley Ryckman, Leah Heinrich, Addisyn Heinrich, Teigan McKown, Laura Robinson, and Paxston Johnson on the recognition!

Their production of A Christmas in the Land of Oz will be performed at 9:30 AM on the campus of Brandon Valley High School, where schools from across the state come together to showcase creativity, teamwork, and the power of storytelling through theatre.
One Act Play challenges students to develop skills in acting, stage design, communication, and collaboration — and the Monarchs are representing Warner with talent, dedication, and heart!
They’re aiming to make it back-to-back years earning a Superior rating at the State Festival — an incredible accomplishment that reflects their hard work both on and off the stage!
Due to copyright laws, a livestream is not available — but we’re cheering them on loud and proud from home!

Warner will have two teams in the tournament, with Warner 1 playing at 9:00 AM against Langford in the Green Gym (new gym) and Warner 2 playing at 10:00 AM in the Gold Gym (old gym) against Northwestern.
