Warner senior Preston Cavalier punched his ticket to the SDHSAA State Wrestling Tournament! Preston will be the #1 Seed at Heavyweight. Wrestling will begin on Thursday in Rapid City. The tournament will be held at Summit Arena at the Monument. There will be a send-off Wednesday at 8:30 AM, with the community welcome to meet in the lunchroom! The Warner Monarchs Girls Basketball Team will begin play in the Region 1B Basketball Tournament this week. The Monarchs will host tomorrow night at 7:00 PM in the Warner Arena vs the winner of tonights game between #7 seed Langford Area and #10 Seed Aberdeen Christian (7:00 PM @ Langford High School). Good luck to the Warner-Northwestern Wild Monarchs as they wrestle in the Region 1B Wrestling Tournament. Region Wrestling will be held at Hamlin High School, with wrestling beginning at 9:30 AM for the first round. Finals will take place 15-20 minutes after the afternoon session. Good evening Warner School Community, due to the forecasted extremely cold temperatures, the Warner School District will have a 10:00am start Wednesday February 19, 2025. Breakfast will not be served and Before Care will not be available. Buses will run approximately 90 minutes later than normal, with the Sale Barn bus arriving at the Barn around 8:40. The Senior class will not be going to Pierre. Again, the Warner School District will have a 10:00am start on February 19,2025. Stay warm and go Monarchs.

Due to a combination of things, there will be no JH/JV/Varsity Boys Basketball games in Warner tonight vs. Wolsey-Wessington. These games will now be played on Friday February 28th in Warner at the same times. JH - 5:00 JV - 6:30 Varsity to follow Once again, the boys basketball games tonight vs. Wolsey-Wessington have been moved to next Friday February 28th. NO GAMES TONIGHT.

The extra time will allow for temps to rise, vehicles to warm, and additional time to get to school.
