I am so very proud of this group and the level of books they are reading. We thank BankNorth for supporting our reading program at the Warner School. The children really look forward to this event.

The environmental science class had the opportunity to learn more about the glacial lake water systems at the Blue Dog Fish Hatchery and the Waubay National Wildlife Refuge. The students observed the various steps of raising some of the freshwater fish of South Dakota lakes and rivers. They also explored trails and tested water samples at the Waubay National Wildlife Refuge. It was a beautiful day to experience real-life applications of science—and, of course, to grab a sweet treat to end the day.
