It’s rivalry night as the Warner Monarchs take on the Northwestern Wildcats—just across the county line but always a big showdown!

📍 Location: Warner Arena & Welke Gym
🎟 All fans should enter through the Warner Arena entrance.

Did you see the news?!? We have once again been nationally recognized as a Blue Ribbon School. Our Warner Elementary was nominated by the SD Department of Education and recognized by our National Department of Education. Warner Elementary received this recognition because of test scores and attendance. We are so proud of our teachers, staff, and students for working so hard on academics. Your work has not gone unnoticed! Our Elementary School was recognized in 2016 and our High School was recognized in 2024. Our school will be recognized on Thursday at a ceremony in Fort Pierre. Congrats to the Warner Elementary!! Way to go!!

A great big THANK YOU goes out to Builders FirstSource of Aberdeen for the donation of hammers and speed squares and Town and Country Lumber of Aberdeen for the donation of tape measures and utility knives. These donations are greatly appreciated and will fill the tool belts of our Building Trades students as they learn skills of the trade this year.

The Building Trades students last spring constructed a permanent walkway between the two crows nest buildings, and the students this fall put on the finishing touches by installing railings to keep everyone safe.

The students welded the frames together in the shop, and thank you to Vosika Fencing for putting the chain link fence on the frames.

Good luck to the Warner Monarch Junior High and Junior Varsity football teams as they host the Welke Memorial Football Jamboree at the Warner Athletic Complex. Games will begin at 9:00, and feature ten Junior High Teams and five Junior Varsity teams. Admission is $3 for students and $5 for adults. Concessions will be available.

Good luck to the Warner Monarch Football program as they head to Ipswich to take on the Tigers in Lake Region Conference Football action. The JH will play at 5:00, with the Varsity kicking off at 7:00. Warner fans are asked to sit on the East side of the field.

If you are unable to make it, the games will be livestreamed at Ipswich Public School HUDLTV page. Ryan Martin will also be on the call, with the broadcast airing at KSDN 930 AM and 102.1 FM. Good luck to the Warner Monarch Cross Country program as they head to Sioux Falls to run in the Augustanna Twilight meet. Over 92 high schools from five states will be participating.

The meet will begin at Yankton Trail Park, with results located at http://results.dakotatiming.com/

Admission is $10 per vehicle. The event schedule is as follows:
6:30 PM – JV Girls 4K
7:00 PM – JV Boys 4K
7:30 PM – Varsity Girls 5K
8:00 PM – Varsity Boys 5K
8:30 PM – College Women 5K
9:00 PM – College Men 4 Mile
